01How does a CO2 mosquito trap work?

Ecotrap-100 draws in ambient air and uses its biomimetic system to capture, regulate and steadily release CO2 in a breath-like pattern. Combined with its attraction system and controlled airflow, this helps draw mosquitoes towards the capture chamber. Performance depends on placement, local conditions, mosquito pressure and continuous operation.

02Where is Ecotrap-100 designed to operate?

It is designed for outdoor areas including Australian gardens, courtyards, alfresco zones, hospitality venues and considered shared spaces. Each unit has an indicative coverage area of 100–200 m2. Actual coverage varies with wind, vegetation, site layout, mosquito pressure and placement.

03Does Ecotrap-100 require Wi-Fi or a separate SIM card?

No customer-supplied SIM card or Wi-Fi connection is required. Ecotrap-100 uses its built-in SIM to connect over the 4G cellular network, subject to supported network coverage. For connectivity details relating to your order, contact sales@tuntianwa.com.au.

Ecotrap-100 is currently available for pre-order. Dispatch is expected to begin in late September 2026, with some orders potentially dispatching in early October. We will advise customers of any material change.
